: This study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and approved by the Institutional Review Board at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee #20.255, and by the National Committee on Research in the Social Sciences and Humanities (NCRSH), National Commission for Science and Technology (NCST), Government of Malawi #NCST/ RTT/2/6. All guidelines and regulations stipulated by both committees and the Declaration of Helsinki were complied with. Before each interview, written informed consent was obtained from all participants after verbally explaining the purpose of the study. The majority of the participants provided a thumbprint as evidence of consent to participate in the study because of limited formal education.
