: This was secondary analysis of data from a survey that was implemented as part of the national public health response to COVID-19 in Wales. Survey implementation was reviewed by the Public Health Wales Research and Development Office and ethical approval was not required as the survey was not defined as a research project (according to the NHS definition of research, outlined in clause 3.1 of the UK Policy Framework for health and social care research). Potential survey participants were informed of the purpose of the survey and its anonymous and confidential nature with verbal informed consent recorded as part of the survey script and all information governance processes were followed.
