: All methods of this study followed the basic guidelines and regulations of the University of Gondar (UOG) Institutional Review Boards (IRB) and the Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) program ethics committee. Informed consent was waived from the International Review Board of Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) program data archivists after the consent paper was submitted to DHS Program/ICF International Inc., a letter of permission to download the dataset for this study. Although the study is not an experiment, all methods were approved since the DHS program handled ethical issues both before and throughout the survey.
