Declarations
:
: The study was approved by the Swedish Ethical Review Board (Dnr 2022–01391-01) (2022–04-14). Any proposed changes to the protocol will be communicated to the Ethics Committee and approval will be sought before proceeding. Any modifications will be communicated to relevant parties and added to the trial registry. According to Swedish ethical legislation, informed consent from the parents will be documented – this can be completed via REDCap, in writing, or by audio recording. All participants will be over the age of 18 years. The parents will be informed of whom to contact if they experience any adverse effects from participation. They will also be informed of their right to withdraw from the research study at any time without giving a reason. All data collection relating to this case would then cease. All previously collected data relating to this family will still stand unless a parent also asks for all this to be removed from the dataset, which will be possible up to the point of data analysis. All participants will be assured there will be no adverse consequences of withdrawing from the study. Parents will be able to receive the municipal budget and debt counselling regardless of whether they withdraw their involvement in the research study. The parent will be informed that data provided for the purpose of the trial will be treated confidentially and results will be reported anonymously and at a group level, meaning that it will not be possible to identify any individual or attribute any information to them.
