: This study was approved by the Research and Ethics Committee of the Uganda Martyrs University Research Committee Ref Reg-2019-M282-20023. Further, the researcher sought the administrative approval of Kira Municipality and Kira Health Centre IV. All participants were informed about the risks and benefits of participating in this research. Participants who provided informed consent were also free to withdraw from the study at any time without any penalty. For participants under 18 years, informed consent was obtained from the study participants' parents and/or legal guardians. The consent form and questionnaire were administered in the local language for illiterate participants and/or their legal guardians to ensure informed consent. The study was only conducted among those who provided informed consent. No personal identifiers were collected during this study, all procedures performed in the study that involved human participants followed the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards [CitationRef removed].
