: This study used the secondary data VHLSS collected, verified and published by General Statistics Office of Vietnam,. Authorized researchers were allowed to access the micro datasets and ancillary materials with de-identification in accordance with the Vietnam regulations on Promulgating Policy of Disseminating the State Statistics,The data used in this study were anonymized before its use. The need for ethics approval and informed consent for de-identification data is deemed unnecessary by the General Statistics Office of Vietnam.The authors did not conduct human subjects research with the VHLSS data for two reasons:​ (1) The research did not directly involve participants, only their reported data; and (2) the data available were carefully checked and altered to remove identifying information while preserving its scientific utility.The authors confirmed that all methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations in the Declaration of Helsinki.The authors confirmed that all methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations in the declaration of Ethics approval and consent to participate section.
