: This study was performed under the international (Helsinki), Brazilian, and UK research and was approved by The Brazilian National Commission on Research Ethics (CONEP) (n. 4.921.308). The study used an anonymised secondary dataset, which complies with the Brazilian General Personal Data Protection Law (LGPD), and required no informed consent from study participants – this was waved by the ethics committee. The datasets were provided by the Brazilian Ministry of Health, whose administrative permission was granted after ethical approval. To receive and analyse the dataset, a term of responsibility for using the datasets was signed by the study coordinator (MB-N), and each member of the research team signed a confidentiality statement. The data used in this study was desidentified before its use. All data were cleaned and analysed in a secure computing environment.
