: The BabyWASH and diarrhea prevention multimedia educational intervention was implemented in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia. Ethical approval for the conduct of the endline evaluation was granted by the Research Ethics Committees of the Afar and Somali Regional State Health Bureaus. Informed written consent was obtained from all survey and qualitative study participants. Before data collection, participants received detailed information in their native languages about the purpose of the study, benefits and risks, as well as their right to decline participation or withdraw from the interview at any time. The information was collected anonymously; names, identification numbers, phone numbers, or any other kind of identification was not used. Confidentiality of all information and data was maintained throughout collection, organization, storage, analysis, and reporting. All research activities followed were performed in accordance with the relevant ethical guidelines and regulations (Declaration of Helsinki).
