: Our study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki in the following respects: Participants were informed about the risks, benefits and procedures of the study. They gave their informed consent freely and voluntarily. The study was reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee of Ministry of Public Health of the Madagascar Republic (notification N°060 MSANP/SG/ANM/ CERBM on 29 June 2021) to ensure compliance with ethical principles. The risks to participants are very small compared to the potential benefits of the study. To protect vulnerable people such as minors and people with reading difficulties, measures were taken during the consent process, such as the presence of a legal representative for minors or a witness for illiterate people. This procedure of consent is approved by the Ethics Committee of Ministry of Public Health of the Madagascar Republic (notification N°060 MSANP/SG/ANM/ CERBM on 29 June 2021). This ensured that they were properly informed about the risks and benefits of the research and that they gave informed consent. Throughout the study, participants’ data was protected and not disclosed.
