The study did not require informed consent, according to Acts 14/1986 and 33/2011, general and relating to Spanish public health, as well as Act 8/2001 of June 14, from the 2001–2004 Statistical Plan for Catalonia, which recognizes the Girona Cancer Registry as a statistical archive.
