Change Details: The original online version of this article was revised: The data registry that supplied the data, HUNT databank, discovered an error in the grip strength variable used in our analysis to assess the “Vitality” domain of intrinsic capacity, that has affected about a third of the participants in our study. We have been provided with the corrected values and re-run all analyses accordingly. Table 3, 4 and 5 have been updated in addition to a minor change in the regression model with the “healthy life index” as exposure where our “intrinsic capacity index” outcome was changed from a five-level factor to a four level factor to comply with the proportional odds assumption.
