: The procedures followed were in accordance with the Helsinki Declaration of 1975, as revised in 2000. Ethical approval was obtained from Institutional Ethical Committee, All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jodhpur vide their Ethical Clearance Certificate reference no. AIIMS/IEC/2018/648, dated- 28/09/2018. The trial was registered under Clinical Trial Registry-India with registration number CTRI/2018/12/016586, dated- 10/12/2018. The study directly involved students and teachers. Informed consent was obtained from students. Informed consent was obtained from participating teachers, and parents or guardian for enrolment of students. Informed consent was obtained from all adult participants. Informed consent for illiterate participants was obtained from their legal guardians involved in the study. Participants were provided with participant information sheet and were explained the option of withdrawing from the study at any point of time if they desired to do so. All the data collected were kept confidential. The intervention and non-intervention groups were informed of the results of the study. In non-intervention group schools, the intervention module was provided after completion of the study and teachers were trained similarly as intervention schools in using the module for adolescent behavior change.
