: Ethics approval and consent to participate were not required for the simulation data. The study for the real-data analysis was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of Southern Medical University [NFYKDX2022012]. The need for informed consent was waived by the Research Ethics Committee of Southern Medical University, since we obtained the de-identified data derived from the Emergency Medical Services system provided by Shenzhen emergency medical center. The data were aggregated into the daily number of road traffic injuries for analyses in this study.
