: Survey participants were informed that this survey was for research purposes and results will be used to inform and document hepatitis B related discrimination globally. Completion of the survey was taken as de facto consent for participation. Participation in the survey was anonymous, did not collect personal identification data, and was voluntary. The survey and its analysis are approved by the Heartland Institutional Review Board (HIRB Project No. 04202023-473).
