: This study received ethics approvals from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (Protocol #: IRB22-1670) and the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kenya (Protocol #: ISERC/JOOTRH/684/22). Caregivers provided written informed consent for their participation after the enumerator read aloud the consent form in Kiswahili and addressed any questions that caregivers may have had. Participants were provided with a small bag of milk and sugar and a refreshment (amounting to $1.50 USD/participant) as a token of appreciation for their research participation.
