: The research conducted at Arba Minch University on adolescents’ and young people’s health records adhered to strict ethical standards. Approval was obtained from the Institution Review Board (IRB) with reference number IRB/1323/2022. Individual health facilities were also approached for explicit authorization before data collection, supported by a letter and a copy of the IRB clearance. Privacy was maintained by using unique identification codes instead of disclosing individuals’ identities. Written consent was not required as individuals were not directly involved in the research process. These ethical measures aim to uphold confidentiality and ensure responsible and ethical research conduct.
