This study is conducted as a secondary analysis of data collected in the Telecare Nord Heart Failure Randomized Controlled Trial (ClinicalTrials.gov, (NCT02860013, registered August 4th, 2016)), the trial protocol was assessed by The North Denmark Region Committee on Health Research Ethics ( og-samarbejdspartnere/forskning/den-videnskabsetiske- komite-for-region-nordjylland), and the project was assessed as not requiring further ethical approval according to Danish law [].
