For participants who are minors (under 16 years of age), informed consent was obtained from the mother and/or father or legal guardians. It is not considered necessary for the BHS to be reviewed and approved by an ethics committee because the information collected in the BHS is used for official statistics in accordance with the Organic Law on Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights and Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on Data Protection (RGPD).
