: Ethics approval was obtained from the research ethics committee of the Federal Medical Center, Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria and the College of Biological Sciences, Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University Makurdi, Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria, and administrative approval was obtained from the Federal Medical Center Health Management. The participants’ confidentiality was maintained by using code numbers rather than personal identifiers on the questionnaires. The aims of the study were explained to each participant before filling out the questionnaire, written informed consent was obtained from all participants in the study, and informed consent to participate was obtained from the parents or legal guardians of any participant under the age of 16. All measures were performed following the relevant guidelines and regulations.
