: General public survey studies are not required to undergo ethical review in Germany. Data were collected by the Society for Social Research and Statistical Analysis Ltd. (forsa) [] that signed the international ethics code for public opinion research (ICC/ESOMAR Code). Participation in the study was voluntary and no expense allowance was paid. Participants were informed about the anonymity of the survey, the aims of the study, and data protection. They also gave their informed consent. The contact data and quotas were deleted immediately after the interviews, in accordance with data protection regulations. The forsa institute has accepted the code of ethics of the industry association [].
