Ethical approval was acquired from the Biomedical Ethics Committee of Wuhan University before the study (registration number: WHU-LFMD-IRB2023063). For online participants, an introductory information letter was provided prior to the survey, including a detailed explanation of the study’s purpose, procedures, potential risks and benefits, data privacy and security, voluntary nature. Participants can proceed to the survey only after indicating their consent by checking ‘I agree’ option. For offline participants, a hard copy of the same information letter and consent form were provided and explained as needed.
