The Central Denmark Region Committees on Health Research Ethics assessed this type of study to require no ethical approval according to the Danish legislation on health research (1-10-72-6-23). The Central Denmark Region approved the transmission of personal data of citizens with frequent contact to the EMCC for this research project (1-45-70-32-23).
