: The study received ethical approval from the Ulster University Research Ethics Committee (REC/19/0020) on June 20th, 2019. The present study was conducted according to the guidelines laid down in the Declaration of Helsinki, and all procedures were approved by Ulster University Research Ethics Committee. All pupils provided informed consent and parents/guardians provided informed written consent before data collection. Walk leaders completed an agreement form which indicated their consent to take part in the research and take on the role of a peer walk leader.
