: The study was conducted following the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Ethical approval for this research was obtained from the Institutional Review Committee (IRC) of Pokhara University (Ref. No. 008–080/81) and formal permission was obtained from Malikarjun Rural Municipality to conduct this research. Before the interview, informed written consent was obtained from the participants. They were informed about voluntary participation, their right to refusal at any point, the confidentiality of the information shared, and the anonymity of their identity. Additionally, those who were practicing inappropriate complementary feeding were provided with the correct information and were advised to consult with health workers.
