: Data were taken from the 2017 China Migrants Dynamic Survey (CMDS, 2017), which is a nationally representative sample survey of migrants in China conducted by the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China. The National Population and Family Planning Commission of China gave the approval to use the raw data from the CMDS 2017 for this study. The 2017 China Migrants Dynamic Survey has been widely used and reported in the literature. The data and details of this study can be accessed at . Researchers can request access to this dataset through the website. Importantly, it’s imperative to note that no personally identifiable information was included in this study, safeguarding the privacy of individuals involved.
