: Permission from the demographic health survey program was obtained to assess the data for this study (). The study is based on dataset from NDHS 2022 so ethics approval and consent to participate are not applicable for this study. However, ethical considerations such as written consent from each participant and approval from the Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC) and ICF Institutional Review Board were obtained by DHS Program 2022. The NHRC guidelines are based on the fundamental principles of the Nuremberg Code (1947), the World Medical Association (WMA) Declaration of Helsinki, the Council of International Organizations of Medical Sciences (CIOMS) International Ethical Guidelines for Biomedical Research Involving Human Subjects, and the WHO and ICH Guidelines for Good Clinical Practice.
