: Mostly, the available online literature from the WHO is in the public domain and can be used for academic and noncommercial purposes; however, permission was sought from the WHO to use its tools and training materials through emails. Approval from the institutional review board of the Health Services Academy Islamabad was granted on June 24, 2019, under F.No. 01-07/2014/PhD. Permission from the Director General Health Services, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and District Health Officer Abbottabad was obtained in July 2019.Written informed consent based on the WHO format [] was obtained from all HCWs working in 26 sampled BHUs before randomization. Informed consent forms were signed/witnessed by the caretakers of sick children. All the principles of research ethics, beneficence, nonmaleficence, individual autonomy, and justice were ensured at all levels. This study was conducted in line with the guidelines of Helsinki declaration for conducting responsible research.
