: This work was conducted as part of a workshop for teachers to improve awareness about dog-mediated rabies among schoolchildren, where written informed consent was obtained from all participants. The project was reviewed and approved by the Institute Human Ethics Committee of IIT Guwahati (IHEC/2024/03). The study was performed in accordance with the principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki. It does not meet the definition of human subject research according to federal regulation 45 CFR 46.102(e)(1), as there was no direct intervention or collection of identifiable personal information. Participation in the workshop was mandated by the Inspector of Schools, Kamrup Metro District while ensuring that it remained voluntary for attendees. Confidentiality of all data collected during the workshop was strictly maintained.
