: Ethical clearance for the study was obtained from the Research Ethics Committee of the Institute of Applied Biomedical Sciences (CER-ISBA: n° 121 of 20 September 2019) which approved the methodology used. All methods were carried out in accordance with guidelines. In this study, no sample was collected from pregnant women. Any LLIN in use by the pregnant woman removed for laboratory testing with her consent was immediately replaced by a new LLIN. Before inclusion, free and informed consent was obtained from each pregnant women after that the study had been presented to them in the local language.
