: Ethical approval for the study was granted by the University of Ibadan/University College Hospital Institutional Ethics Committee (approval no: UI/EC/19/0479). Participants were fully informed about the aims and scope of the research and provided written informed consent. For uneducated participants, the consent document was translated into Yoruba, and interviewers obtained informed consent through face-to-face discussions to ensure comprehension. The questionnaire was interviewer-administered to further assist uneducated participants in providing accurate responses. Participation was voluntary, and no identifiable information was collected, ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of all participants. This study was carried out in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki.
