: This is a secondary analysis of a nation-wide cross-sectional data for NCD risk factors in 2019 in Jordan. No identifiers of individuals were provided. Permission was received from the WHO to conduct this study. Ethics approval was provided by the national ethical committee at Jordanian Ministry of Health. Informed consent was obtained from all participants before conducting the interviews []. Permission was received from the WHO to conduct this study. The survey procedures and instruments used for the study were ethically approved by the ethics committee of ICF Macro International, Inc, Calverton, Maryland, USA, and by the National Ethics Committee of each country. To conduct this study, permission was received from the registered DHS Program- Data Archive website at the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF). The study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki of 1975, as revised in 2008, and the WHO guidelines for interviewing women for DV were also followed [14,17]. Informed verbal consent was obtained from each participant before the interview as mentioned earlier. This work has been reported based on STROBE (Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology) guidelines [15.18].
