: The trial was approved by the Swedish Ethical Review Authority (ref no 2021–06106 - 01) and conducted in compliance with the ethical principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki by the World Medical Association. All involved CHC nurses were informed about the study before initiation of data collection and had the option to be involved in the project or not. Nurses randomised into the intervention group, gave informed written consent for individual participation in data collection on implementation outcomes. Prior to baseline assessments at the 5-year routine visit, eligible parents were provided with oral and written study information by their child healthcare nurse (both intervention and control group), and written informed consent was collected from all participating parents. Consents were given electronically using a secure digital signature (BankID), or by paper if the participant were not able to sign electronically.
