Ethical approval for this study was obtained from the Human Ethics Advisory Group for the Faculty of Health at Deakin University (HEAG-H 55_2023) and the National Health Ethics and Research Committee (NHERC Reference number 20230608) in Tonga. A Tongan Government research permit was obtained from the Prime Minister’s Office in Tonga. All participants gave written informed consent to participate in this research after providing them with information on the purpose of the study and its benefits and potential risks.
