: This study was conducted in accordance with the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki, and ethical approval was granted by the Research and Ethics Committee at the School of Public Health, Makerere University (Reference number: SPH-2023-460). Written informed consent was obtained from parents/guardians of adolescents (10–17 years), followed by adolescent assent. Adults (18 + years) provided written informed consent. Interviews were conducted privately to ensure confidentiality. Data collected had no personal identifiers and was securely stored on password-protected computers and servers, restricting access to authorized study team members only.
