: The data in this paper was part of a study titled “Burnout, metabolic syndrome and predisposition to non-communicable diseases: A study among health workers in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana” in which ethical approval was obtained from the Ghana Health Service’s Ethics Review Committee (Protocol Number: GHS-ERC 018/03/20) []. The study was conducted in conformity with the Helsinki Declaration on Human Experimentation, 1964 with subsequent revisions, latest Seoul, October 2008. Permission was also sought from the management of the three hospitals before data collection. Written informed consent was also obtained from each participant before recruitment into the study. Each participant was informed of his/her right to withdraw from the study at any time without suffering any negative consequences. Names of the participants were not revealed in the study report and all information gathered from the study participants was treated confidentially as all questionnaires were placed in a special cabinet under lock and only accessible by the researchers only. All the COVID-19 prevention protocols were adhered to during the data collection.
