: This study received ethical clearance from the Kwame Nkrumah University Ethics Committees (KNU/2023REC04/001). All team members completed training in human subjects research ethics. The team adhered Belmont Report (1979) to ethical standards respect for Persons, beneficence and justice. The researchers consistently followed high ethical standards, maintaining professionalism and impartiality throughout the project. Before interviews were conducted, the Informed consent was obtained from participants before any data was collected in accordance with the ethics committee’s approval. The interviews and group discussions were conducted with respect to local cultural practices. The study team ensured participant privacy and anonymity, keeping all information strictly confidential. Furthermore, each participant received an information sheet outlining the study’s purpose and objectives.
