: This study was reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee of Torbat-e-Heydariyeh University of Medical Sciences under the following two approvals:• IR.THUMS.REC.1398.062 – Prevalence of death anxiety related to coronavirus (COVID-19) in the population of Torbat Heydariyeh city in 2020.• IR.THUMS.REC.1401.015 – The mental health of the people of Torbat Heydariyeh during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022.Both ethics approvals are in full compliance with the Declaration of Helsinki.
