: This randomized controlled trial strictly adheres to the Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials (CONSORT) 2010 guidelines. The study obtained approval from the Ethics Committee of Shantou University (SUMC-2022-076) and received authorization from the leaders and class teachers of the surveyed educational institutions. And the informed consent to participate was obtained from the parents or legal guardians of all participants under the age of 16.
