: This study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. Ethical approval was obtained from the Medical Health and Research Ethics Committee (MHREC), Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada – Dr. Sardjito General Hospital, under ethical clearance number KE-FK-1296-EC-2022. The East Nusa Tenggara province health office, West Sumba district health office, district health centre heads, Waikabubak research and development centre heads, and village heads gave authorisation. Informed consent was obtained from the parents or legal guardians of participants under the age of 18, either through signature or thumbprint. All data were handled with strict confidentiality. Children with positive STH were reported to the local Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities, which were partners in this study. Treatment was administered by local PHC personnel.
