: The ethical and legal issues to protect the rights and dignity of the participants were given the required attention, hence ethical approval was obtained from the Committee on Human Research Publication and Ethics (CHRPE) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi (KNUST) before any attempt to recruit participants. This was granted with the reference number (CHRPE/AP/109/24). Details of the ethical approval are provided as a supplementary document. Permission was also sought from the management of the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital, which is the data collection site, before data was collected. An Informed consent was then obtained from all the participants, with each signing a consent form. This study was also carried out in compliance with the Helsinki Declaration.
