: Authorization from the TB control office of Adamawa and Yobe States was granted. Support and approval were also acquired from the chairpersons and state executives of the coordinating bodies that represent the PPMV and TH in each state. Approval was also obtained from the chairpersons of Primary Health Authorities within the study and local government in each region. Ethical approval was granted by the Scientific and Research Ethics Commission in both Adamawa and Yobe States.
