: The study involving human participants and human data was conducted in accordance with the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki as established by the World Medical Association. Ethical clearance was sought from the Copperbelt University Biomedical Research Committee (CBUBREC) study number CBU/BREC/23/001 to conduct the study. The institutional review board conducted a thorough full review of the protocol upon which approval was granted. Participation was voluntary (freely-given) and participants were informed about facets of the study. We confirm that informed consent to participate and publish were obtained from all parents/or legal guardian of under-five children. Therefore, the study adhered to all ethical guidelines.
