: The study adhered to the Declaration of Helsinki and was approved by the ethics committee of the medical faculty of the University of Tübingen and the University Hospital Tübingen (project number: 848/2018BO1). Clinical trial number: not applicable. Informed consent was obtained from nearly all participating families, including the patient and both legal guardians, who were usually the parents. Following the recommendation and the approval of an amendment to the above-mentioned study by the Ethics Committee of the Medical Faculty of the University of Tübingen and the University Hospital Tübingen in April 2024, data from families who did not actively provide consent may also be included retrospectively as part of the routine data collection. Data from families who declined participation were not included.
