Ethics approval and consent to participate: Ethics approval was received from UNSW Sydney (HC230425), and two LGBTQ+ community health organisations: ACON (RERC Reference Number 202326) and Thorne Harbour Health (THH/CREP/23/012). Signed (hard copy or electronic) consent forms were obtained from the study participants. Participants were also given the option of providing recorded verbal consent with the interviewer if they were more comfortable doing so.
