: The study was approved by UNICAF University Research Ethics Committee, decision number O29349G30803. Informed written consent was obtained from all participants prior to the individual caregiver face-face interviews, prior to each focus group discussions and prior to each key informant interviews, including permission to audio record the interviews. The study was performed in strict compliance with the principles of ICH-GCP and the Declaration of Helsinki.In the case of illiterate participants, consent to participate was witnessed and obtained from their caregivers or parents or legal guardians. The consent document included a clear section addressing this category of participants and the witness counter signed the process of obtaining the consent to participate from the parents or legal guardians of any participant with no formal education or illiterates. The translated consent document was administered in the local language best understood by the illiterate participant or their guardian.
