: The Korea Youth Risk Behavior Survey (KYRBS) was approved by the Institutional Review Board of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) until 2015. Since 2016, the survey has been exempt from IRB review as it is conducted as a government-approved statistical survey (Approval No. 117058) under the Bioethics and Safety Act.All procedures were conducted in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki.Informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to participation in the survey.
