: Data collection started after obtaining the Ethical Clearance from the National Ethic Committee for Health Research (NECHR No. 088/NECHR, dated 24thDecember/ 2020). Approved by Sengchanh Kounnavong, MD, PhD, from the Lao Tropical and Public Health Institute.Before enrolling, the study staff explained the purpose and procedures of the study to all prospective participants. Informed consent was obtained from all participants. For participants under 18 years of age, consent was additionally obtained from a parent or legal guardian. Each participant, including those who were illiterate, provided written informed consent; for illiterate participants, a witness who was not a member of the study team signed the consent form.Participants were voluntary, and they retained the right to withdraw from the study without facing any consequences. In the event of withdrawal, all data and biospecimens associated with the participant were promptly deleted. The study ensured confidentiality throughout the study duration.
