: This study was conducted in strict accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Ethical approval for the study was obtained from the Ethics Committee of the School of Public Health, University of Kinshasa, DRC (ref. no. 266/CNES/BN/PMMF/2021). The authorization to conduct the study was also obtained from local health and administrative authorities and community leaders. Before starting the study, a meeting was organized with the community to explain the objectives and other relevant study information. Written and verbally informed consent was obtained from all participants before enrolment. Verbal consent was also obtained to record discussions during focus group discussions (FGDs).
