: This study uses anonymized data from the 2021 Burkina Faso DHS. Ethical approval for data collection was granted by the ICF and the national Ethics committee of Burkina Faso. Authorization to access and use the dataset for this secondary analysis was obtained from the DHS Program (Ref: 214022). All DHS surveys adhere to the ethical principles of the Declaration oh Helsinki. Since the manuscript relied on anonymized secondary data, no additional ethical approval was required.
