Ethics approval and consent to participate: The study protocol was reviewed and approved by the National Ethics Committee of the Angolan Ministry of Health (reference: No. 10/CEMS/2024). Authorisation was also obtained from the Scientific Directorate of the David Bernardino Paediatric Hospital. Given that the study was based exclusively on anonymised secondary data extracted from routine clinical records, the requirement for individual informed consent was formally waived by the Ethics Committee.
